Audit Logs

The Audit Logs page offers a complete trail of system-level activities within the Transportation Management system. It helps administrators track what actions were performed, by whom, and when, supporting transparency and compliance.

Navigate to the Audit Logs Interface

  • Click the Settings icon in the lower-left corner of the screen.

  • Select the Audit Logs from the menu options.

This opens the Audit Logs page, displaying a list of all changes made in the system.

Page Overview

Header Section

The header section contains the following items:

  • Page title: Audit Logs

  • Last Loaded Timestamp: It is when the table was last refreshed, either automatically on page load or manually by the user.

  • Refresh button: It is the most recent time the audit logs were fetched from the backend and displayed on the screen.

Note: Click Refresh in the following situations:

  • When you suspect that changes or actions (such as updates, approvals, or other events) have occurred since the page was last loaded.

  • When you want to ensure you are viewing the most up-to-date audit trail for troubleshooting, validation, or compliance purposes.

  • When you have applied new filters and want to retrieve the latest matching results.

Filter Controls

The following filters are available to narrow down log entries:

Filter By Date Range

The Date Range dropdown allows you to filter audit logs based on the dates when changes were made.

  • Click on the Calendar icon on the dropdown to get the calendar pop-up.

  • Select the date range manually or choose from the options given on the right side of the pop-up. This will mark the dates in the Calendar.

  • Click Done to apply the filter.

  • You can also clear or cancel the selection using the Clear and Cancel buttons.

Filter By Event Type

The Event Type dropdown allows you to filter the audit logs based on the type of action performed on the records (such as Create, Delete, or Update).

  • Click on the Event Type dropdown to open the list of event types.

  • Select the desired actions by checking the boxes next to Create, Delete, Update. You can also use Select All to include all event types.

  • Click Done at the bottom of the dropdown.

  • The log table will now display entries matching only the selected event types.

Filter By Record Type

The Record Type dropdown allows you to filter the audit logs based on the category of records that were modified (such as Comments, Tenant and User Management, or Transportation). Changes under Tenant and User Management refer to modifications made in the Manage User settings, while changes under Transportation relate to trip requests.

  • Click the Record Type dropdown.

  • Select the desired record type by checking the boxes next to them. You can also use Select All to include all record types.

  • Click Done at the bottom of the dropdown.

Filter By Changed By

The Changed By dropdown lets you filter the audit logs according to the user who performed the action.

  • Click the Changed By dropdown to open the list of users.

  • Select the desired users by checking the boxes next to their names, or use Select All to include all users.

  • Click Done at the bottom of the dropdown.

  • The audit log table will now show entries made by only the selected users.

Search By Record ID Bar

  • Use the Search bar in the top-right to find specific entries using the Record ID.

  • The audit log table displays a tabular list of audit log entries, with each row showing the following details:

    • Changed on (date and time)

    • Event Type (e.g., Update, Create)

    • Record Type (e.g., Transportation)

    • Record ID

    • Changed By (user who performed the action)

    • Change Log (with expandable details for each record)

  • Clicking on any log entry opens a detailed side panel. This view provides a field-by-field breakdown of the change, including:

    Before – The original value

    After – The updated value

    Each field includes its context (e.g., Vehicle ID or User Role)

Pagination

  • If the number of log entries exceeds one page, use the pagination controls at the bottom of the table to move between pages.Audit-Logs-Numbers of pages
